About AAGC
The Academic Audit and Governance Committee is responsible for the oversight of academic audit of the operation of regulations, policies and procedures and advises Senate on the operation and effectiveness of academic governance and academic activities.

AAGC considers reports and advises Senate on a range of topics, including:
- the scheme of academic governance
- membership of Senate
- establishment and membership of Senate’s committees
- academic audit
- ethical approval
- Internal Review Scheme

AAGC dates are included in the University of Salford Almanac available to all staff.
Papers for consideration by the Committee must reach the Secretary at least two weeks in advance of the meeting at which they are to be considered.
